All our services are entirely free to our clients
and at this moment we have a list of over 350 persons whom we regularly
help in this.
Who we need
We do urgently need volunteers if we are able
to continue this important work.
We need your help to provide transport particularly
from appointments to hospitals, doctors, dentists, chiropodist and
opticians. Car drivers are therefore most urgently required. ( A
mileage allowance fro petrol will be reimbursed)
Even if you don't drive we also needed people
who will do shopping for the housebound; visitors who would spend
an occasional hour with a person living alone or someone who would
do simple DIY jobs. No cleaning or household chores will be required.
All we are asking from you is a few hours
of your time.
You yourselves choose your hours and days that
you feel you could help. Most of our work is in daytime hours and
on weekdays. The work is interesting and fulfilling and is greatly
appreciated by our residents.
