The Neighbourhood Care Groups: There
are 8 individual voluntary organisations across the borough
which offer neighbourly help to people in need. Neighbourhood
Care Groups offer practical help and support to people in
the community by linking up a volunteer with someone needing
help locally.
Volunteers: Are
needed to help with such diverse requests as transport, shopping,
befriending, gardening, odd jobs, dog walking, sitting for
a carer, escorts on outings and minibus shopping trips.
Can you help?
Volunteering is flexible, fun and very worthwhile. Helpers
must be reliable, but do not have to make a regular
commitment - occasional help is appreciated. It is an excellent
way of getting to know people in the area. Perhaps you could
give a little time to help?

Catchment Area: The boundaries for each of the groups
have to be cleary defined in a borough the size of Richmond
upon Thames. Follow this link to find out how the catchment
areas are set up or go straight to our map to locate
