VOLUNTEERS NEEDED !
Can you help ?
HANDS is a charity which provides help for people in need.
In times of difficulty, local volunteers are willing to give people
of any age group
practical help and support in many ways, especially to elderly,
frail, sick, disabled and lonely people without near family.
We can help to improve the quality of
life in our Community.
We run an office - telephone, computer,
publicity, and P.R. skills needed.
Also drivers to take frail people to appointments (petrol allowance).
And helpers for shopping, friendly visiting, sitting for carers,
pension/prescription collecting, handyman jobs, gardening, wheelchair
walks, escorts, and outings.

Can you spare 1- 2 hours a week, a month, just occasionally?
We run a Sunday Lunch Club for 8 - 10
people and need a cook/helper (4 to 5 week rota).
Volunteering is flexible and fun
Jaunts. We arrange lovely outings
for small groups and need an assistant for the organiser and volunteers
to push wheelchairs.
Satisfying and rewarding.
We organise a door to door accessible transport bus to Tesco
Thursday afternoons. escorts are needed.

Fundraising stalls require helpers to set-up and to sell goods.
