Holy Trinity Church, Castelnau (opposite Tesco Express) is the Parish Church of North Barnes.

Built in 1868, the church was completely refurbished a few years ago, retaining its fine traditional features, but with comfortable seating, carpets and heating.

Here you will find a friendly and welcoming congregation with a relaxed atmosphere.

Our services combine dignified worship with informality. We are fortunate to have James Cryer as our first-class organist, and sing music ranging from old favourite hymns to modern settings easy for everyone to join in, recently introducing a small but very effective choir.

The 10 a.m. Parish Eucharist on Sundays offers facilities for families, making an enjoyable occasion. There is a regular Sunday School, with children joining their parents in church, followed by coffee, biscuits, etc. - a time to get to know people and chat.

Special services from time to time include Songs of Praise, Mothering Sunday, Harvest Festival and Nativity Play.

We have a number of social events, including Harvest Lunch, Trinity Sunday Lunch, Bonfire and Fireworks, Christmas Party, and a summer soirée in the garden to which everyone is invited.

The Vicar is the Rev Jean Boulton-Reynolds, Holy Trinity Vicarage, 162 Castelnau. She will be pleased to meet you and help in any way possible. Her normal working days are Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday. However, should you need assistance on days other than these please leave a message and she will get back to you.

Baptisms and Marriages are by arrangement.

We look forward to seeing you!
